to take large amounts of donated supplies into Centro de Atencion Multiple in Playa del Carmen. During the
October mission trip each classroom at CAM was given teaching materials and thematic classroom decor to
meet the needs of their specific class. The kids were really excited seeing all of the colorful bulletin board
sets for their classrooms. We hope that by improving the classroom environment & introducing thematic
posters / decor the teachers will be inspired to create new lessons for the students. In addition each
classroom received teaching materials specific to their students' needs based on observations & experiences
working with the students during the summer Yucatan trip.

supplement, diapers and additional supplies specific to each child's needs were brought into the
families. We were struck by how big of a difference we can see in the vitality and responsiveness of
each of the children with the improved nutrition that they are receiving. Sponsors are still needed for

difference in the quality of their lives.

gets to be a part of this awesome experience by helping to sponsor children at the CAM schools in
Playa & Cozumel. Each year the children write a letter to Santa...and each year their wishes come
true! During the November mission we got to take part in the planning & preparation for this joy filled
project. We brought down arts & crafts supplies for all the students at both schools to make their
letters to Santa. The kids & teachers did an awesome job creating their cards! Very creative! A
picture was taken of each child & was included in their letter to Santa! We brought back a number of
cards so that donors in Houston can be a part of the spirit of giving...giving the gift of joy to these
